This series is the supportive readers for Vol.1 to Vol.4 of the 'Easy Steps to Chinese' series. Classified into four levels, with 5 volumes or totally 15 interesting stories for each level, the readers center around the daily study and life of middle school students. The volumes of 4A, 4B, 4C and 4D go with the Vol.4 of Easy Steps to Chinese textbook, with each volume matching a unit in Vol. 4.

本套读本旨在让学生有机会在课外通过阅读有趣的故事，复习和巩固课本中所学过的词汇、句型和语言点。

Ms. Yamin Ma holds a B.A. of British Language and Literature and an M.Ed. in Curriculum Design and Development. She is now teaching Chinese as a foreign language in an international school in Hong Kong. With many years’ experience in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, she has done a thorough research for a long time on the Chinese AP test in the USA and Chinese IB test in Europe. Her research interests include English Language Teaching, Chinese Language Teaching and Pedagogical Psychology. Her academic papers have been read and published for many times in international seminars.

马亚敏，英国语言文学学士，教育学硕士。任教于香港国际学校。从事对外汉语教学多年，并长期追踪美国AP中文项目以及欧洲IB中文考试动态。学术研究涉及英语教学、汉语教学和教育心理学，多次在国际性研讨会上宣读或发表论文。
