    About this book

This book is based on the A Level 9715 Chinese Examination Syllabus (2020-2022) of the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), and is designed for teaching and examination guidance for papers 3 (Essay) and paper 4 (Texts), which are more difficult for most learners.
1. The book closely links to all topics and author's work analysis: it covers the 15 topics in Paper 3 and the 10 writers in Paper 4 including their works and styles, and it is also with 30 mind maps to strengthen students' understanding.
2. The book summarizes the question types over the years and analyze the steps of giving answers: according to the exam focus, it summarizes the question types of Papers 3 and Paper 4, and points out the principles and steps for answering questions to improve students' ability to take the exam.

    About the author

Ms. SU Yuan, holds a Bachelor’s degree of Chinese Language and Literature from Beijing Normal University and a Master’s degree of Translation and Interpretation from City University of Hong Kong. She has more than ten years’ experience of IB and Cambridge course teaching and assessment, and her students have achieved excellent results in A Level, IGCSE and other exams. She has taught at Hong Kong Yew Chung and the English Schools Foundation, and once served as the founding principal of Hong Kong Han Academy. She is currently the executive principal of Beijing Springboard International Bilingual School.
MR. LIU Xu holds a Master’s degree of Arts from Hong Kong Baptist University. He has taught in public high schools in Mainland China and has won many national and provincial teaching awards. He currently teaches at Hong Kong Hand Academy, and all the A Level 9715 candidates that he taught achieved A*.
Mr. ZHAO Jiawei holds a Bachelor’s degree of Arts and Education from The University of Hong Kong and a Master’s degree of Education from The University of Hong Kong. He currently teaches at Han Academy in Hong Kong and has an in-depth understanding of Cambridge courses.
