Traditional Chinese painting usually takes classical literature and philosophy as its theme. Thus this book collects rare ancient Chinese paintings kept in museums home and abroad on subjects of Chinese most known ancient proses, to name some, Preface to the Orchid Pavilion Gathering , On Yueyang Tower , Story of the Peach Blossom Valley , Preface to the Tengwang Pavilion and so on.
