The manuscript is divided into two volumes: the first volume includes the basic theory of acupuncture and moxibustion, location of acupoints commonly used in clinic, indications, application of acupoints compatibility and operation methods; Clinical commonly used acupuncture techniques, cupping, scraping; Acupuncture treatment of common clinical diseases. The next volume focuses on the basic theories of traditional Chinese medicine, and expresses in accurate English the unique theories of traditional Chinese medicine that are necessary but difficult to learn, such as the theory of Yin and Yang, the theory of the five elements, the syndrome differentiation of Zang-fu organs, the syndrome differentiation of eight cardinal points, and the six evil qi of external sensation.
