The book, according to the project layout, consists of the eight chapters, namely: overview of China, Chinese and Chinese characters, customs, scenic spots, science and technology, the traditional art, Chinese literature and Chinese and foreign cultural exchanges. Each project includes 3 ~ 5 sections, and every section is made up of four parts: introduction of basic knowledge, information, reading and practice. The introdution of knowledge is not overall and profound, but from the readers interested knowledge, supplied with free and happy materials and lively and interesting essays. Knowledge, materials and essays are related with each other, and written freely and well. Practice pays attention to interactivity, rich practical illustrations. This book gives priority to introducing Chinese traditional historical civilization and contemporary rich and colorful culture life, and strives to use simple language, lively content to deepen readersunderstanding of Chinese culture.
