Concise English-Chinese Chinese-English Dictionary

This third edition has been updated to take account of new vocabulary and recent developments in Chinese and English. New words and phrases reflect scientific and technical innovations, particularly in the areas of information technology and telecommunications, as well as changes in politics, economics, culture, and society.
Many of the new additions to the Chinese-English section have been selected from The Commercial Press's Chinese dictionaries such as A Dictionary of Current Chinese (Extended edition, 2002). Additions to the English-Chinese section have been selected using the Oxford English Corpus---the vast English-language databanks which form a major resource for all Oxford English Dictionaries----and with online access to the latest version of the text of the Oxford English Dictionary.
