Get Ahead in Chinese is a four-stage integrated Chinese course leading to GCSE, IB (ab initio) and equivalent examination levels. It is primarily designed for students in UK mainstream and international schools. This challenging course takes full account of National Curriculum requirements and the Common European Framework, providing lively interactive material for use in the classroom or for self study over two to three years.
Get Ahead in Chinese provides various exercises on the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. The third volume of Get Ahead in Chinese covers 285 characters and focuses on more sophisticated social and culture domains, such as media, sports, the environment, health issues, future plans, work experience, etc. All essential Chinese grammar will be fully covered by the third volume.
The fourth volume of Get Ahead in Chinese provides integrated revision of various topics with extended vocabulary and useful grammar patterns. It is handy and efficient but provides a complete overview of the Chinese grammar and essential vocabulary. It is intended for readers to use as revision before exams.
