When capturing an image, it does not need to be detailed for a long time, only a few strokes can capture the essence and spirit of the person. Therefore, the head sketches I make often concise and in-depth depict the beauty of the characters. The material-based full-body sketches are often drawn more deeply. This is out of practical need. Sketching is not a display of skills, but a means of expressing the realm of aesthetics. The method of sketching directly affects the style of creation, and the pursuit of creation affects the form and technique of sketching. My material is for the fine brushwork or small freehand drawing. Only the in-depth material makes it possible for my creation to be portrayed in depth. Most of the materials presented to you today are such creative materials. There are only a few of my works when I was in school and in the 1980s. In recent years, I have drawn some paintings because of tutoring my children to school, and some foreigners painted when I went abroad, or I painted in my spare time after dinner. There is no utilitarian work. When it is a kind of practice, it can be said that 'the fist does not leave the hand, the bend does not leave the mouth', in order to maintain one's sensitivity to objective things.
