Volume 13 of New Concept Chinese series includes one textbook, two workbooks, one set of final exam paper and two accompanying audio CDs.
Each lesson includes text, characters and words, basic knowledge of Chinese language and reading. The reading materials consist of one Chinese idiom story and a story or short article which are vivid, interesting and helpful for improving students' reading skills.
The exercise book has two volumes, including exercises such as linking characters, forming words, making sentences, etc.
The accompanying CDs include the recording of texts.
Upon finishing this volume, the students will master 210 new characters and 178 words and phrases, and will be able to read short articles of about 600 characters. And upon finishing the 13th volume, the characters expected to be mastered will accumulate to 1532.
