Reform Determines Future of China

The first chapter of this book tries to make a brief summary of the background for and role of China's economic reform in the early stage of the 21st century. The next four chapters of the book present initial studies of the major tasks of the country's economic reform:
Chapter Two focuses on the overall major tasks of reform in the early 21st century.
Chapter Three tries to expound the fundamental significance of the reform of the income distribution system, centering on shareholding by employees.
Chapter Four concentrates on the rural economic reform featuring the implementation of long-term and guaranteed land-using right.
Chapter Five point out that the reform of the government, which takes as its basic objective to carry out the public functions, has become a particularly urgent task in the early 21st century.
