Study on the Problems of Rural and Agricultural Development in the Reform Process of Poland and China

This book is the result of several years' cooperation between the Institute of Rural and Agricultural Development of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Rural Development Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Despite enormous differences between Poland and China, there exist many similar problems regarding the development of rural areas. The experiences that arose from problem resolution are both informative and instructive. This publication is the outcome of joint research and discussion. The Chinese and Polish authors raise similar topics that are regarded in each country as especially important.
