The Ancient Art in Xinjiang, China

Born in 1954 in Shanghai, Mu Shunying graduated from the Department of history, Beijing University in 1960. Mu has engaged in archaeological research in Xinjiang for more than 30 years. He was director of the Xinjiang Institute of Archaeology for some years. Mu now is a professor at Xinjiang Institute of Archaeology and secretary-general of the Chinese Society for Central Asian Studies and vice-secretary-general of the Dunhang-Turfan Society of China. His main works include: '30-year Archaeological Work in Xinjiang', 'Ancient National Cultural Relics of Xinjiang', 'Louland, The Mysterious City', etc.
