The Unseen Tibet

It went without saying that Wang Yao approached Peking Opera with her camera. She was seen to keep clicking the shutter button to take pictures of face patterns (facial make-up), costumes, actors and actresses in full make-up... That's how this album has come into being. It is so called The Unseen Peking Opera just because what the album shows is an old as well as aging Peking Opera. But its glory days she hasn't personally lived through is exactly what she has long been looking for.
